I know you tip Taxi drivers, waiters and hairdressers. But last week I had my carpet cleaned by a company and I had no idea if I should tip the cleaner or not. Then I got my dog groomed and didn’t know whether to tip the groomer. How do you know? And should I have tipped these people?

Did they do an absolute wonerful job, better than before.
Does your dog really like this person and tend to look better?

I tip…my lawn guys, car washers, paper delivery boy, mailman(holidays), pet groomer,pet waste removal company.

It also depend on teh price of teh service. If I think they are outrageous I won’t tip. If they are reasonable and the service is above average, I’ll tip!

OK, my cat, God lover her, has spewed all over my carpet – she’s bought up her biscuits, etc. I cleared it off as best I could, and had my carpets professionally cleaned about a week later, but there is still a brownish mark and the carpet cleaner said nothing he could do as acid from the cat’s stomach had wrecked it – anything more I could do to try and remove it – or any tips how I should clean it up next time she’s sick on the carpet (why is she never sick on the tiles???!!!)
