when i turn on my computer it runs at full speed like jet i already clean those fans 1week ago after hearing those jet sounds but it seems cleaning didn’t help i dont know whats going on can someone advice me?
Hi. Depends on the machine. Some computers have a problem with cooling so the BIOS tells the fan to max out during boot. If it slows to normal after boot I would not worry about it. Best thing to do if find the latest BIOS and flash it. Get a friend if you are not sure how to do this.

Friday, June 25th, 2010I want a multi-language registry cleaner that can tune up registry and speed up computers.?
Sunday, June 20th, 2010My mum is a French, my dad is a German and I am an American and we have 3 computers. Now we want to have a multi-language registry cleaner to tune up registry and speed up our computers. Please introduce one, I appreciate your help.
I think the Registry Mum is your best choice. As far as I know it has been released in five language versions, including English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. This feature is built in the software and you can change different versions easily.
Registry Mum can clean and fix invalid registry entries, defragment registry and remove unwanted system startup programs to speed up your system. With it your computers will become faster and more stable.
You can download Registry Mum from www.registrymum.com directly.
Hope this works.
Why Do Hybrids Need Low Maintenance?
Wednesday, June 9th, 2010
They use less fuel. They are much more efficient. They are much less polluting. And what’s more, they require much less maintenance. Yes, hybrids really do score better on all counts when compared to conventional vehicles. In fact not only do they need much less service, they are also made to run better and last longer. So you should take all these factors into consideration when you are making a choice. Let’s take a look at why they don’t need as much maintenance.
Firstly, they have fewer parts than a conventional car and hence, fewer parts to wear out. It’s the way they are built. There’s no regular starter and this technology means that there is one part less that needs to be replaced. No starter also means there is no chance of accidentally grinding the flywheel. The battery and the motor too do not require too much maintenance. The engine lasts longer than a conventional engine and requires as much maintenance perhaps as a conventional one. A hybrid does not need any valve adjustments done and even if there are valves, they do not get worn out because the engine does not run constantly. And the injectors do not need regular cleaning, in fact maybe they never need to be cleaned because there is hardly any deposit on them.
The hybrid car uses electricity to run the air-conditioning system unlike the conventional ones that use a traditional pulley that is driven off a gas motor. So this means there is no air-conditioning belt to wear out. There is also no belt used for the steering because it is not hydraulic but electric. So it has very little kickback even when driving over rough, uneven roads.
The hybrid car’s generator can multi-task. The generator is an important part of the hybrid car and there is a separate gas engine that powers it. A hybrid engine is really very small, maybe 10 to 20 horsepower and it is so designed that it gets maximum efficiency if it runs at one speed. Because the generator does many tasks, there is less wear and tear of the other parts and when braking or coasting, the car can recapture the energy. So there is no wastage of the battery and the battery does not need to be replaced very often. With the generator handling a lot of the braking – in fact 80% – it means that extends the life of the brakes too. There is also less chance of the rotors getting warped. Thanks to less of a heat build up, the life of the brake fluid is extended too and the brake pads last longer.
Hybrid cars also have warranties that are much longer. Most of the Toyota and Honda cars have much longer warranties on their hybrids than on the conventional ones. There’s an 8 year or an 80,000 mile warranty on the Honda Insight while for the Toyota Prius, you’ll get a 100,000 mile warranty or 8 years on the hybrid system and the battery. These longer warranties make the hybrid an attractive buy.
If you are making up your mind between a conventional car and a hybrid one, look at all the long-term advantages. Hybrids are built so they last longer and they don’t need as much looking after as a conventional car. Add to that the fact that they don’t guzzle as much gas and have fewer parts, therefore less maintenance and you’ll see why it makes good sense to decide in favor of the hybrid.

Improve the Performance of Your Slow Computer in 16 Easy Steps
Thursday, May 20th, 2010
Google the term slow computer or improve computer performance and what do you get most of the time? Fix your Windows Registry with this fantastic new Registry Optimizer and it’ll run like new.
It is my experience that repairing the registry only, serves little to speed up the PC and in numerous cases I could not see any difference in speed. It was still taking, what appeared like forever and a day, to boot and it was still freezing every now and then.
There are several reasons why a computer will be slowing down: files become disordered, unnecessary software fills up useful space, there are too many files not being used anymore, the Windows registry is overflowing with rubbish or you have a computer trying to load all the applications installed on it at startup.
A sudden slowdown and instability might be caused by a malicious program you picked up on an internet surfing expedition. The threat of malware infections to your computer is ever present and
if you surf the net without updated anti-malware programs, you can be sure you’ll pick up something dangerous sooner or later.
Windows’ has some utilities like Disk Cleanup, Check Disk and the Windows Disk Defragment which Microsoft tells you to use on a regular basis, but it definitely does not do a thorough job to keep your PC from losing performance and stability.
In our print and sign shop we run graphic design programs and large format printing programs. When working with these exceptionally large files, you need all the speed you can get as well as steadiness, which means stopping freeze-ups and system failures.
Several cleaning and tune-up products are needed to keep your computer’s performance and stability up to scratch. Except for the ever present registry optimizer, you need utilities that can do
much more, like disk cleaning, disk defragging, registry cleaning, virus, worm, trojan and malware removal and clearing useless information and files as well as tweaking the system to get it lightning fast and steady as a rock.
To really speed up your PC you need to:
- Remove unused applications.
- Clean your browser’s history, temp data and your Favorite or Bookmark list.
- Optimize the Windows Registry
- Scan for and remove threats like viruses, malware etc.
- Make the boot process considerably faster.
- Kill all those superfluous startup applications.
- Free your PC’s memory whenever possible.
- Schedule your cleanup programs to run automatically.
- Place all your data files together in one easy to use location.
- Defrag and organize your disks so that your most used files are in the fast lane.
- Optimize, tune and tweak your PC for optimal speed and stability.
I have researched and tested not less than 30 programs, utilities and methods over a period of several months, to get top performance from our PC’s without any hang-ups or system crashes.
There are 17 products I recommend, each of which is designed to do a certain task on the PC. We use 11 programs and utilities on a regular basis to keep our PC’s ship shape. It seems as if Windows is on steroids.
In my next article we’ll have a look at the seriousness of guarding your computer from viruses and malware.
If your PC is already too slow for it’s own good and you are already losing profits and valuable time you could’ve spent with your family, I suggest you have a look at How to Fix Your Slow Computer at http://slowcomputerfix.tmmarketing.co.za which addresses all the issues mentioned above and is a detailed, step by step tutorial, on which I spent months of research and testing, for improving your PC’s performance and thereby saving you valuable time and money.

Uv Sterilization in Aquariums; Misinformation
Wednesday, May 12th, 2010
I continue to follow the threads on forums, aquarium articles, and blogs about UV Sterilization. It still amazes me much misinformation spread about this, some masked in science. As I have stated many times before, a UV Sterilizer is not essential for any aquarium, however even for goldfish I have had maintained tanks with as many variables (similarities) in place as possible and noted the differences and this includes thriving reef tanks.
What I also find interesting is that many of these same persons who trash them will then state a protein skimmer as essential. I have maintained tanks with and without Skimmers (again every other possible variable the same or as close as possible), and noted the changes in measurable parameters and found that yes they are useful, however often not by much and that Mud Filters, DIY DSB filters or similar can often replace them (as well as UV Sterilizers and good over head lighting such as MH).
Back to the subject at hand, here is a thread I will comment on. In this thread one person who offered proof (albeit not of the perfect scientific nature, but as good as it can often be within this hobby) was attacked dog pile style without other backing up their statements other than criticizing his methods:
Arthur #1 (Edited):
“If you read some scientific documents about UV sterilization of water you will know they talk usually about a standard long, 40W mercury UV tube in a 3″ diameter lamp and water passing at the speed about 500 gph or less. This kind of setup delivers dosage of about 18,000 mW-sec/cm2. In order to increase this dosage you need to lower the water flow. For example, 250 gph
flow will in above mentioned lamp would be exposed to the almost double dosage of 34,000 mW-sec/cm2. This dosage is enough to kill bacteria, yeast, some mold spores, viruses and microalgae. And some aquarium grade lamps achive this effect with unicellular algea. To kill protozoa (like a well known from school “Paramecium” or our ich-causing “Cryptocaryon irritans”)
you would have to increase the dosage.
MY COMMENT:
First, most studies I have read show under 10,000 mW per se/cm2 for bacteria. Second, I have read articles that have shown 30,000 + mW-sec/cm2 with 90 watt bulbs at a rate of 200 + gallons per MINUTE (which even I find hard to believe, my point often it depends on whose data you look at. Third, there is more to treatment of Cryptocaryon than just out right sterilization (I would not want it that high in my reef tanks!!!), there is also the Redox potential which Sterilizers improve and also general water quality.
Finally each unit is different and there are many variables from age of the bulb (even a 3 month old bulb has lost 25%), to temperature, design of the unit, pre filtration (a micron pre filter vastly improves sterilization), and to flow rate which I have found to be best at 20 gph (or less for most good units in aquarium applications).
Arthur #2 (edited):
Without a hospital tank, adding a new fish was always hazardous. Back when I had
no UV on the tank, once one of the fish started showing signs, the life
expectancy of that fish was usually less than 3 days; they could not take the
combined stress of the parasites and the copper treatment. Other fish in the
tank would invariably show signs of infestation later, but would usually make it
through. Once the first sterilizer was added, the rate at which the disease
spread decreased; my theory is that some of the parasites were being killed in
their free-swimming stage. After that, the first fish to show signs usually
survived, and some of the other fish would never show any signs at all.
Once I added the second sterilizer, I never lost a fish to ich, though I did get
the occasional infestation. In short, there was a direct relationship to the
number of watts of UV and the intensity and rate of spread of the disease.
Since I was not religious in changing the bulbs (and the bulbs get less
effective with time), I was also in a position to notice that an outbreak was
worse when the sterilizer bulb was pretty old. Again, this didn’t happen once I
had two units running.
MY COMMENT:
This person most likely had decent units with low flow rates, pre filtration, and useful discernment.
Without elaborating too much (my expanded articles have much about this), as stated earlier there are other aspects of UV Sterilizers such Redox Potential, this is not a hard test to perform; simply test the Redox without a UV and then run one for a week and test again, easy! So many person who trash persons like this have not considered all the variables if they have failed, myself I have seen UV Sterilizers not do a damn thing. These were often 8 watt Units running off a sump with a flow rate of 800 gph, a calcified quartz sleeve and poor pre filtration. This is not to say a 8 watt unit (or less) cannot work, just not under those conditions (and in the case a brand I will not mention, a poor mixing chamber design as well). The 15 Watt Custom UV Sterilizer I made has performed well in most every application I have placed it in (The Terminator Compact UV Sterilizers do well too, one of the best compact UVs I have used along with the ReSun and Coralife).
What a UV Sterilizer is, is a tool for good aquarium husbandry along with water changes, filtration, Protein Skimmers and more. In many of my side by side applications with and without, the UV was just one more piece of the puzzle to improved water quality in let’s face it, an artificial environment (unless we want to kid ourselves). I can think of one experiment in particular with several goldfish tanks at a large service customer of mine. All these tanks in particular had canister filters, cleaning and the same feeding schedule and bio load; the only difference was UV Sterilizers. The difference in amount of diseased goldfish, growth and color was very noticeable (the vice president did not no we were performing this experiment and even commented about why some tanks did better than others, after which she had us install UV Sterilizers on all).

Cyclone Radio Control Car
Tuesday, May 4th, 2010
There are a lot of radio controlled cars (RCs) available in the market today. Go inside a hobby store and you will see monster trucks, regular cars and SUVs, racer types, and a lot more. Many hobbyists and RC collectors buy their RCs and several enhancements in order to place them in RC competitions, with the hopes of winning, both for the prize money and the pleasure of winning itself. If you are a person who is into RC racing, specifically those dealing with speed, you may want to get yourself a Cyclone radio control car., which is an RC designed and built with speed in mind.
A Cyclone RC comes with all-terrain rubber tires and suspension shocks. What does this mean? This means that aside from being a speed demon on normal roads, you can bring the Cyclone to a dirt road and it will still leave the other RCs behind in a literal “eat my dust” type of race. You can bring it and use it in almost any kind of terrain, whether rocky, dusty, flat, bumpy, etc. The Cyclone RC is truly an RC that collectors must get their hands on. It is a great combination of speed and power.
Perhaps the only problem you will experience with the Cyclone RC is the fact that it gets dusty and dirty when you use it in that kind of terrain and you will spend some time cleaning it afterwards. It is a minor problem compared with the other problems other RCs experience initially (tire trouble, suspension problems, motor problems, etc.). The silver or black color will come out in a different shade when it goes through dirt, but you will be happy to see the amount of dust it kicks up in the air as it picks up speed. Be sure to watch though, since you might ram an unwanted obstruction which could cause damage to the RC.
RC collectors must have the Cyclone included in their collection. It is a highlight of any RC collection due to the fact that it is a high speed vehicle, yet has no equal of its size when in comes to all-terrain function. It is really easy to control too, as there are two speed controls – one low and one high. The low speed control comes in handy when going through rough terrain, and when the road evens out, push the high speed control to see how fast the Cyclone can go.

Stop Lights in the Fast Lane
Tuesday, April 27th, 2010
Selling a business is not a trivial task. Many speed bumps can be eliminated or minimized with some attention and advanced planning. At all costs, you should avoid waiting for the closing table to learn that your business had some “issues” that will disinterest the buyer, reduce multiples or increase discounts and adjustments.
In the sections below, you will find a collection of items to address to ensure that green lights are glowing through the finish line. Arguably, each section merits an entire chapter in a book, however, for the busy executive; here are some of the highlights:
Start Early
This first step can’t be overemphasized. Schedule time on your calendar each day/week to get all of your ducks in a row.
Shareholder Consensus
Review the internal shareholder environment. Make sure that all of the owners agree that the sale of your company is the correct liquidity event given your current business situation, strategic plan and other business dynamics. Schedule an internal meeting to get all stakeholder input on a potential sale. Take official notes, for some may develop selective amnesia, as the potential sale progresses. Do you have any minority groups or individuals that might resist the liquidity event? Do you have an ex-partner that might want a piece of the action? Do you have a current/former shareholder that has been through a divorce, potentially creating an expectation that he/she owns a stake in the business? Are there any owner siblings involved in the business? Children disputes will most likely foul the deal for potential buyers, and future managers could spend a ton of energy and corporate resources cleaning up the mess and/or acquired corporate culture.
Maintain Focus on the Current Business
Don’t take your eye off the ball. Since most entrepreneurs/business leaders can successfully manage the sale of a business, their natural reaction is to take on the project as an additional task to their already growing list of daily responsibilities. Don’t do it! During the six-to-nine month lead time of the sale, your business valuation can deteriorate. Hire a Business Broker (BB)/Investment Banker (IB) to handle the initial valuation, marketing and day-to-day sales process. The best thing that you can do to help with the final sale price of your firm is to keep focused on growing the business.
Human Resources
Employment related issues such as unfunded pensions and former employee obligations/severance issues can impede deal momentum. Verify that Employee Stock Option/Ownership Plans and Shareholder Agreements align with your desire to sell. Review your insurance policies. Do you have key-man insurance?
Facilities
Environmental issues such as a leaky fuel tank, chipped paint, unsafe facilities, contamination, etc., are all items that can slow or halt a deal. As seen in the residential real estate market, a fresh coat of paint and some fresh flowers in the reception area can improve the potential buyers “feel good” factor when evaluating the business.
Production/Manufacturing
Product warranty related liabilities that may impede future performance.
Taxation
Talk to your tax advisor about any upcoming tax issues that might adversely affect the sale and his/her deal structure preferences to maximize shareholder value. Ensure that the firm is current on all federal, state(s), local, payroll, sales and income tax liabilities.
Finance
Talk to your CFO. Are your loans assumable? Are your financial statements audited? If not, the potential buyers will hire a CPA firm to audit your books, which will likely reduce your valuation. Have a complete set of updated and audited financials available at all times.
Legal
Talk to your corporate counsel regarding past items that might come out of the closet during a buyers Due Diligence (DD) process and deal structures that will best satisfy your shareholders. Ask him/her for a review of all contracts (vendor, customer and strategic relationships), or anyone else in your end-to-end supply chain. Do you have any transferability or assignability issues? Is your Intellectual Property, such as copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents and ideas, protected? Do you have any Union-related issues that need to be addressed? Are there any “poison pill” clauses in your shareholder agreement or corporate bi-laws that can kill the deal?
Sales
Talk to your sales leadership. (If you are the CEO as well as the VP of Sales, talk to yourself, but not in public.) Review current contracts. Cleanup your sales pipeline list. Create a red (lost deal), yellow (major issues exist), green (sales process tracking well) report and make adjustments as needed. Weigh each potential deal and calculate the probability-adjusted pipeline which will be used later in the valuation process. Be conservative, for if your deal closes with an earn-out, you will likely get paid on the performance of closing the opportunities in your pipeline.
Customers
Call your customers proactively to ensure that all is well. Some DD teams may discretely contact clients. Have your internal team develop a red/yellow/green action plan for each client to convert any reds and yellows to greens. Having too many cautionary (yellow) or negative (red) client references may spook the buyer or cause downward pressure on the sale price.
Valuation
Have your BB/IB create a valuation using comps, an in-depth evaluation of the business fundamentals, market conditions, strategic positioning (items covered in my next article). Make sure that your board agrees with the valuation. Ultimately, the market (disguised by one or more serious buyers) will determine the real market value of your business at that particular moment in time. Nothing more, nothing less! Of course there is the rare emotional buyer that is willing to pay way over market price for a multitude of strategic or personal reasons. The buyer will need to consult their CPAs on how to best handle the excess goodwill (overpayment). Many buyers want to pay a multiple of recent results, such as revenue or EBITDA. On the other hand, sellers want to receive an amount based on future potential, using some gyration of a discounted cash flow model. Ultimately, the negotiations team will meet at a price that is perceived as comfortable for both sides of the table.
The Inner Circle
Decide who needs to know about the possible sale. Given the culture and other group dynamics, one might choose to include the entire company in the decision. Some leaders choose to include the customers in the final deal process. Other owners choose to keep the entire process under wraps and disguise the BB/IB teams and possible buyers performing DD as “consultants” or “auditors.” Most leaders include a handful of strategic team leaders in the process and do not share any details with the rest of the company or customer until a deal has been reached. Some teams create a code name for the “project” to be used on email, calendars, etc.
Strategic Plan
Is your strategic or business plan up-to-date? Do you have an Executive Summary worthy of handing to a serious High Net Worth investor or corporate buyer? If not, your BB/IB will create this document for you. Have you thought through an integration strategy for each potential buyer. A local acquisition may require closing one office and consolidating teams. A foreign or out-of-state acquisition may require your operations to maintain, if not grow, the buyers regional/international presence.
Health
Review the health and professionalism of the owners. Will the buyers want to acquire your management team? If the tables were turned, would you hire yourself? Given the outcome of your review, have a plan in mind because the buyer may ask about career/succession planning.
Competition
Review your competition. Can the competition throw you a curve ball to derail the deal? If so, what kind? Engage your inner circle team in a contingency planning discussion to perfect your competitive strategy.
What’s Your Exit Strategy?
Review your own intentions. What are your motivations? Do you want to cash out and retire or do you want a leadership role in the acquiring firm with an “earn out” over time? Are you looking for a stay package? Some buyers may not give you an option. Think through your plans for each path.
Team Negotiations
Review your acquisition team. Do you have an experienced M&A lawyer, tax lawyer, accountant, etc.? Who will be the lead negotiator? If you intend to maintain a working relationship with the buyer, remove yourself from the point position and let the lawyer or BB/IB take the lead. Most business owners are emotionally connected to the firm, which clouds their ability to successfully negotiate.
Buyer Targeting
Create a target list of perfect buyers (green), unknown buyers (yellow), and nightmare buyers (red). Are you targeting a horizontal buyer that would benefit from a new product/industry offering, or, should you target a vertical buyer that can use your product/service to augment their existing portfolio in the same industry segment? Have weekly team meetings to review progress of each buyer opportunity and reclassify as needed. Update your selling strategy as new market information unfolds.
Are You Ready?
Lastly, your BB/IB will need you to be responsive to prospective buyer requests. Are you committed to this liquidity journey or are you simply just trying to gauge a retirement planning scenario? If the latter is true, hire a CPA firm to appraise the business value. If your committed to the sale, hire a BB/IB, jump in, be responsive and don’t look back.
Good luck. I hope to see you in the “Fast Lane.”
