Hi, William! I clean small offices but am familiar with cleaning homes, too. I don’t know what your regular job is, but if it is a day job, you may want to consider cleaning small offices instead of houses. You do the work usually after 5 o’clock. One or two jobs could give you an extra $2,000 a month. I have a Squidoo lens on starting any kind of cleaning business. It has tons of resources and tips. The link is in my Profile. I would call a competitor and ask what their specials are. Find out if they charge by the room, the job or what. Your prices seem fair to me. Once you know what others are charging you can be more competitive. In fact hiring a competitor to clean your house may be good research for you and if you watch and take notes it could be great training. Write it off as a business expense. Good Luck

Don’t ask your friend to work as your house cleaner, just think of the day you don’t feel like she haven’t done a good enough job, that’s a conversation you would like to avoid.
Better to stay friends, and she will get some new clients eventually.

Keep your friend your friend. DO NOT HIRE HER to do work for you. In thye same way that you should not lend money to a friend, even more so is true with housecleaning. You can help her by recommending her services to others, but do not use her personally. It makes life a lot easier, when you keep your friends, friends, and your workers, workers. There are a lot of referral agencies out there that you can use to find yourself a housecleaner. Good luck.

If you have a owners manual check that and it should tell you in your manual. With cars now adays a car can go a least say 100,000 before a tuneup.

For what is called i guess a minor tuneup. They are not that expensive. Usually spark plugs and maybe wires.

If yours needs what is called a major tuneup. Then that can be expensive. Spark plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap. Also more then likely air and fuel filter.

Check owners manual, they do vary. Most newer cars are about 100,000 miles. Mostly just spark plugs and filters, not real expensive, but that varies with car make. The timing belt is what costs, if equipped.
