i have a crazy work schedule so i really don’t have a fix day to clean. because of that i learned that if i do "mini" cleaning everyday i really don’t need to have a fixed day to clean. i always use a timer and set it for 15 minutes and start tidying up and/or cleaning. at first i thought i won’t be able to finish anything but no, i was able to "swiffer my floors including kitchen floor and bathroom, scrub the kitchen sinks, 2 bathroom sinks and 2 toilets. i’m so happy after that. not only that i’m making myself productive, my house is clean and tidy!
so whatever works for you is really up to you.

~~~I have a set weekly cleaing routine. Then I have my daily cleaning routine, dishes, sweeping, mopping, etc. I wash windows, baseboards, wall, etc. as they need it.~~~

http://www.flylady.com has some GREAT tips for cleaning your house , setting up routines and helping yourself as a woman(and man too). FLY stands for finally …..loving…. yourself. Check it out, it really helps! I just recently started FLYing on mother’s day and am loving it. I have been recommending it to everyone I meet and talk to! So I have been taking the advice on there and blessing my house, my family and myself!

We have a set routine every day. Kitchen is cleaned every night and laundry is done every other day. Living room is cleaned every day and vacuuming is done twice a week. Rug is shampooed every other week. Bathrooms and bedrooms are done every week. Five people live in our house so it get's messy often so we need to keep on top of it.

Whenever I get the time, I clean. I hate housework, so it is a struggle to get in the mood.
