Spotless Speed Cleaning!

how much does it cost to get insured and/or bonded for house cleaning services?

I am just starting out my cleaning career as a personal house cleaner and am not bonded or insured at the moment, but would like to get insurance ASAP. How much does it cost and who would I go to for this service?

Insurance and bonding are two seperate things, but they’re probably going to run you around $1700, all together. Likely, you’d have to pay that up front.

You’d go to a local, independent agent near you, to first get the quotes, then buy both the bond and the insurance.

It all depends on the coverage your looking for. You need to discuss with an Agent. You’ll need Property damage liability in case you damage a client’s property. Cleaning agents may discolor or damage wood or other types of materials and you could be liable for restoration or replacement. Other aspects of liability may need to be addressed as well.
