HELLLPPPP!!!! I have just found out that my plumbing is backing up in my house, and we only JUST got dish detergent, after 1.5 days w/o it. My kitchen is a mess, and my house was up for a big cleaning today, but now I can’t use my water, and the plumber will be here in about 3 hours.
I know this sounds like a wacky situation, and one you’d never be in, but I’m desperate for some help. Please, offer any and all relevant advice.
Go buy some bottles of water.
just straighten up what you can. sweep, vaccum, the dishes are going to have to wait…

Well, the dishes just can’t be washes without water. The rest of the house can be cleaned with cleaning agents. You may have to put off cleaning until tomorrow.

I agree with Crystal, straighten up, vacuum, dust, sweep the floor. If you have to, melt a couple ice cubes so you can at least spot mop your floor. Pick up any stuff laying around. If you have a ton of dishes…maybe put them in a laundry basket and put it in the closet/garage? I don’t know, I guess it depends on how bad your house is!

You need to go to the nearest supermarket and get one of those large bottles of water! Good for drinking also because you will be working up a sweat!
